About Us

Scratch First—the team behind Wonderfruit and Fruitfull—is looking for an experienced freelance Thai Copywriter & Translator to join our creative network. You’ll help us shape how our stories live online: from Wonderpost blogs to social media captions and beyond.

This role will require a varied skill set including copywriting, investigative research, script writing, conceptual thinking and content project planning. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director and the Content Writer, this person should feel comfortable distilling complex concepts into strategic translated content, localizing while maintaining Wonderfruit’s unique tone of voice.

The Role:
The roles and responsibilities of the Freelance Thai Copywriter & Translator include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Translate and localize English content into Thai, ensuring meaning, tone and cultural nuance are preserved.
  • Localize UX copy for web and app platforms, ensuring meaning, user experience and character limits are observed.
  • Translate captions and copy for social media, coordinating with the Content Team and Branding for alignment on audience, tone and CTAs.
  • Translate original Thai content across platforms including blogs, webpages and EDMs.
  • Collaborate with our Creative and Marketing teams to bring ideas to life through words.
  • Stay on top of language trends, cultural references and audience insights.
  • Revise copy based on feedback from the Founder, Managing Director, Team Leads and members of the Marketing Team.
Candidate requirements:
  • Native-level Thai writer with excellent grammar and style.
  • Strong English comprehension and ability to adapt complex ideas into accessible Thai.
  • 5+ years of professional writing or translation experience in lifestyle, music, events or F&B industries.
  • Motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage deadlines independently.
  • A portfolio that shows versatility across formats (social captions, blogs, editorial pieces, etc.).
