The Role
  • Design and develop brand identities, visual systems, and brand guidelines across Scratch First’s portfolio
  • Create brand assets across digital, print, environmental, social, and on-site festival applications
  • Collaborate with Head of Product & Design, Senior Designers, writers, and production teams to develop cohesive visual narratives that serve the story of each project or experience
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints — from a social post to a stage banner to a festival wristband
  • Produce design files that are clean, production-ready, and clearly documented for handoff to production and print partners
  • Explore and present multiple creative concepts during development, incorporating feedback through rapid iteration
  • Stay current with visual culture, typography, design trends, and festival aesthetics to bring fresh thinking to the studio
  • Support the wider creative team on campaign materials, wayfinding, merchandise, and event collateral as needed
Candidate requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in brand or graphic design, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong visual identity work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma
  • A strong command of typography, colour, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • Experience developing brand guidelines and design systems is preferred
  • Comfort working across both digital and physical design applications — festivals demand both
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a genuine passion for craft, finish, and quality
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred
