Scratch First, The team behind Wonderfruit and Fruitfull, is looking for an experienced and strategic Content Writer to join our creative team. It requires experience in combining material from different sources into stories and content that engages and resonates with our Wonderers.
This role will require a varied skill set including copywriting, investigative research, script writing, conceptual thinking and content project planning. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director and taking inspiration from the Founder and Managing Director, this person should feel comfortable working quickly, communicating with management and distilling complex concepts into strategic content.

The Role
Create consistency of all messaging across the brands, projects and events, ensuring messaging is suitable for specific audiences and distribution channels
Create all written content for Scratch First brands, from long form editorial-style pieces to social media captions, web copy and EDMs
Write, research and conceptualise creative, innovative content that brings readership and encourages sharing
Excellent grammar and spelling skills, and is able to respond positively to feedback and re-draft copy to meet their comments while retaining the impact of the copy.
Attend briefing sessions and discuss brand, selling strategy, and purpose of the brief with the appropriate members of the brand/project management teams
Stay abreast of trends, talent, competitive advertising, and target mindset
Tell compelling stories
On approval of concept, prepare full copy documents
Provide writing support and expertise on a wide variety of media
Manage own time and output in line with deadline
Brainstorm and develop creative concepts that are on strategy
Maintain a high awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities
Build out a project management and filing system to ensure all work is correctly stored, categorized and saved for historical purposes
Candidate requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in English writing/speaking (Thai is a massive advantage)
5+ years of experience within an advertising agency, especially in lifestyle, events, music, art and F&B
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
Motivated, self-starter with an action-oriented attitude
Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
Capable of manage own workload and time, juggling multiple projects, sticking to deadlines, and ensuring high-quality error-free output
Experience of publishing through social media channels and a thorough understanding of how content can play out across multiple mediums.
A portfolio is required to demonstrate creative skills
