This object of wonder comes from sound and energy healer, reiki practitioner, and Wonderness alumnus Jan Sriyuksiri—AKA Jaan Healing.
The Auralite-23 crystal is a rare example of an object which sparked, caused, or inspired literal wonder. During an energetic session in contact with the crystal, Jaan was able to initiate an astral projection—an exceptional experience she chalks up to the crystal’s unique properties.
“This crystal is called Auralite-23. It is very special as a crystal, as it can only be found in one location in the world: the Boreal Forest north of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. The crystal contains 23 minerals in one (as the name suggests) but what’s even more special about this one is that it has a Quartz caps on top. Normally they don’t have the Quartz grown over the cap, and this was only found in one small pocket in the mine. They haven’t found any more like it.
“What makes this crystal an object of wonder to me is the experience I had with it during my Astral Projection experience. Three years ago when I was learning how to have a self-induced, out-of-body experience I had this crystal with me at one of my attempts. I felt like it was the crystal to use so I held it in my hand while going into meditation. When I got to the separation point my consciousness left my body and I “woke up” in a world full of colours and geometries. I met a being who I can only describe as one of my guides. He told me that I could ask him any questions and I felt him and other beings around me giving me healing energies.
“Now when I hold this crystal in my meditations, I can still feel that same vibration I felt in the astral world.”
